The concept and art was developed by Desi Aragon, our premier illustrator. This custom replica of the 30’s Nazi war plane was constructed by David Morales of Tucson, AZ. How much more sophisticated can a model airplane get? This particular airplane holds a figurine pilot complete with skull-head and warfare-ready apparel. The plane flies via remote control and shoots live ammunition. Any more advancements and the FAA might seek involvement! His background started as an Illustration major at Savannah College Art & Design and he graduated with honors with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in 1993. During that same year, he broadened his skills into Editorial Graphics and soon became the leading illustrator and graphic artist of the The Florida Times-Union. He continued his growth within the company and significantly contributed to the paper's first online publication in 1997, known as www.jacksonville.com. He continued his employment at the Times-Union until 2000 and later explored other challenging and rewarding web-related avenues.
